It’s time to start stocking our candy storehouse! Trunk –n- Treat is just around the corner, and we are excited this year to partner with Living Word Church! You’ll find two convenient locations to drop off candy every week – one before entering the Children’s Department from the upstairs parking lot and one in the Narthex.
The theme for Trunk –n- Treat this year is "The Living Bible Labyrinth." We are encouraging as many participants as possible to enter biblically-based, themed trunks. Perhaps a class you’re involved in at church could enter a trunk based on something you’ve been studying. Be thinking of creative ways you can make your favorite Bible stories come alive or how you can connect your favorite scriptures/ biblical themes with popular, fictional heroes. This year at Trunk –n- Treat we are excited about giving kids the candy they want, but it’s our passion to offer them Jesus that they need.
